About Us
Birth Roots has been a cornerstone of the birthing community for both families and professionals for over 20 years. Based out of Winnipeg, MB (Canada), Birth Roots pivoted during the Covid-19 pandemic and started offering all trainings and workshops online. Jenn Fontaine, owner and lead trainer, holds credentials with DONA, Lamaze, Fellow of the Academy of Certified Childbirth Educators as well as being a Certified Lactation Educator and When Survivors Give Birth Instructor. Birth Roots also offers classes and doula services to families in the Winnipeg area (can be found here).
